Your inverter settings matter.

Here are 4 things to get right:

• DOD (Depth of Discharge) - Avoid regularly taking your battery to 0%. A sensible discharge limit can help extend battery life.

• C-RATE - Don't constantly push your battery at its maximum charge/discharge rate. Lower rates generally mean less heat and better cycle life.

• CHARGE & DISCHARGE CURRENT - Set these according to your battery manufacturer's specifications, not guesswork.

• BMS COMMUNICATION - If your inverter supports battery communication, make sure the BMS is correctly connected and configured. This allows the battery to communicate its limits to the inverter.

⚠️ More power isn't always better. Running a battery harder than necessary can reduce its lifespan.

Check your battery manufacturer's specifications before changing any settings.

Phase 1 complete at Voldeo Trailers and Steelworks!

We recently completed the first phase of a high-voltage solar installation, providing the facility with substantial solar generation and battery storage capacity.

The Phase 1 system includes:

• Deye 80kW Hybrid Inverter
• 80 × 640W solar panels — 51.2kWp
• 12 × Deye BOS-G Pro 5.12kWh High Voltage Lithium-Ion Batteries

And this is only Phase 1.
