Meet Cade!
β’ 4th Dan Black Belt
β’ International Instructor
β’ Mentor
Sabum Cade Mathetha began his Taekwon-Do journey in 2010 at the age of 30. What started as a personal challenge quickly became a lifelong passion and a way of life. Today, Taekwon-Do is more than a martial art to himβit's a way of helping others grow in confidence, discipline and character.
Throughout his competitive career, Cade has won 16 South African National Titles, represented South Africa internationally on four occasions, and competed in Brazil, Argentina, the United Kingdom and at the GTF World Championships. Every achievement has reinforced his belief that success is built through perseverance, humility and consistent practice.
Since becoming an instructor in 2013, Cade has coached more than 100 students ranging from young children to adults. His goal extends beyond teaching techniquesβhe strives to create an environment where students develop confidence, learn to lead by example, support one another like family and carry the values of Taekwon-Do into every aspect of their lives.
"Taekwon-Do is more than kicking and punching. It is a way of life that teaches respect, discipline, self-control and an indomitable spirit."
We are honoured to have Cade onboard, and excited to see him groom & inspire another generation!
