GOD IS IN CONTROL

I went from having plans for tomorrow to wondering if I would even see tomorrow. I spent nights in hospital rooms, moved from ward to ward, faced moments I didn't understand, and had to learn how little control I actually had.

And somewhere in all of that, I learned something:

God didn't need me to understand everything. He needed me to trust Him.

I don't have a perfect life today. I still have worries. I still have bad days. I still make mistakes. I'm still learning how to be a better husband, father, friend and man.

But I don't carry everything the way I used to.

If a door closes, I ask God what He is protecting me from.
If something doesn't happen, I trust there may be a reason.
If tomorrow scares me, I remember that God is already there.

I have been given more chances at life than I ever deserved.

So today, I'm not trying to control the whole journey.

I'm just grateful to be here.

Grateful for my family.
Grateful for another morning.
Grateful for another breath.
Grateful for the opportunity to become the man God wants me to be.

You don't have to have everything figured out today.

Take the next step.
Plant the seed.
Do what you can.

And let God take care of what you can't.

God is in control.
He always was.
I just had to learn to let go.

SUNDAY THOUGHTS πŸ™

I used to think a good life meant having things under control.

A good job.
Money in the bank.
A nice house.
A car.
People around you.
A plan for the future.

Then I ended up in a hospital bed fighting to stay alive.

And suddenly none of those things mattered.

I didn't care about the car.
I didn't care about the house.
I didn't care about what people thought of me.

I wanted to see my wife.

I wanted to see my kids.

I wanted to go home.

That's when I realised how easily we can spend our whole lives chasing things that we think are important, only to discover what really matters when everything else is taken away.

I have made mistakes in my life. I've hurt people. I've been angry. I've been impatient. I've thought I knew better than I actually did.

I'm not proud of all of it.

But I'm also not the same man I was.

Today, I'm grateful for the ordinary things I once overlooked.

Waking up.

Having coffee.

Hearing my kids.

Sitting with my wife.

Working in the garden.

Having another day.

I don't need life to be perfect anymore.

I just want to live it properly.

And every morning I wake up, I say the same thing:

β€œThank you for waking me up today, God.”

Because after everything I've been through, I know one thing for sure...

Tomorrow was never promised.
Today is a gift.

Have a blessed Sunday. β€οΈπŸ™

SUNDAY MOTIVATION 🌿

There was a time when I thought I had to control everything.

My family. My work. My future. My problems.
I thought if I could just work harder, plan better and hold on tighter, I could make everything right.

Then life stopped me.

I found myself in a hospital, far from home, with machines around me and no idea what the next day would bring. There were moments when all I could do was lie there and talk to God.

And somewhere in that silence, I started to understand something:

I was never really in control. God was.

Today, I don't thank God only for the big things.
I thank Him for waking me up.
For my family.
For another morning.
For the ability to walk outside, see the trees, feel the sun and simply be alive.

I've learned that sometimes what feels like a setback is actually God redirecting you.

So if today you're struggling, don't think you have to have all the answers.

Give God what you can't control.

Trust Him with the things you don't understand.
Keep moving. Keep believing. Keep loving.
And when you get another morning, don't waste it.

Stop for a moment.

Look around.

Smell the roses. 🌹

You are here for a reason.

God is in control. Always. πŸ™πŸŒΏ
