Building Blocks Outreach Project

Once a week our teacher team gets together to plan for the following weeks' theme and activities.

These meetings have become a highlight to the teachers as it also creates an atmosphere of support and unity amongst the pre-schools.

And to top it off, it comes with coffee and muffins!

One of our most important areas of investment is spending time with our parents.

At the heart of everything we do will always be this message "You are loved and have the capacity to love"

One way in which a parent can communicate love is by creating a supportive home environment.
In our workshop we covered related topics including the following

- the words we use affects our child's ability to succeed
- what are words of affirmation
- how to include your child in daily activities that will build into their developmental foundation
- fun activities that can be used at home for development and stimulation
