Thabo Phalatse put his love to work when he began mixing on vinyl in 2001, sharing with the masses his love for House, Lounge and nu-jazz.

As Part of his love for music, he had opportunities to travel to a few parts of the world (Japan, Europe, North/South America) as part of a look and see initiative.

This man believes that his curation of music when he is on the Decks is Therapeutic, and much is to be heard from him.

Welcome Tshepiso Motaung (Kalawa) to the Bloom & Bask Family. Kalawa is recognized for his distinctive approach to British dance music, particularly the rhythmically intricate sounds of Broken Beat (Bruk). His music seamlessly blends soulful grooves, jazz-inspired harmonies, electronic textures, and African rhythmic sensibilities, resulting in a sound that is both progressive and deeply rooted in the dance culture. 🌻🌸🌼

Good things are worth waiting for.

Following the postponement of our event, we’re excited to confirm our new event date: 07 November 2026. Tickets available on Quicket.
