Laduma Ngxokolo brought MaXhosa Africa to the Paris Fashion Week runway for its official debut, presenting 54 looks that placed Xhosa heritage at the heart of a contemporary luxury wardrobe.

Titled Izihlwele Zivumile, meaning “the ancestors have approved”, the collection explored MaXhosa’s signature knitwear through bold colour, intricate patterns, sculptural silhouettes and striking African iconography.

With its first appearance on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, MaXhosa’s latest collection marked a significant new chapter for the South African fashion house.

London Fashion Week SS27 proved that beauty is better when it refuses to behave. 💄✨

From statement lips at Burberry and Simone Rocha to luminous skin at Harris Reed and Di Petsa, and sculptural hair at Richard Quinn and Alexander McQueen, the season moved between restraint, experimentation and full-blown transformation.

Elsewhere, Francesca Lake, Ashley Williams and Natasha Zinko turned to wigs and exaggerated silhouettes, proving that sometimes the best beauty looks are about stepping into an entirely new character.

ELIE SAAB and H&M celebrated their highly anticipated collaboration in Paris, bringing red-carpet glamour to the historic Palais Brongniart. ✨

L’Oréal Paris’ Ultimate Makeup Masterclass Volume 3 took over Johannesburg’s Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, bringing together beauty lovers, industry talent and some of South Africa’s biggest stars for a day dedicated to all things beauty. 💄✨

Hosted by Bonang Matheba, the sold-out experience featured global makeup artist Harold James, who created a beauty look on L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan Africa ambassador Ama Qamata, while attendees explored interactive makeup and haircare stations throughout the venue.
