Blue Fox Plumbers

WHAT DOES YOUR INSURANCE POLICY STIPULATE REGARDING GEYSER REPLACEMENTS?
A client of mine submitted a claim to his insurer after noticing that the water from his geyser had turned brown, raising concerns that the unit may require replacement. The insurer has rejected the claim on the basis that the geyser was not adequately maintained and has requested proof of regular maintenance.

While the client may challenge this decision, the likelihood of a favourable outcome is uncertain and, in my view, approximately 50/50.

Review your policy wording to confirm what is stipulated regarding maintenance requirements and cover in such circumstances.

My first Elon Solar PV installation.....in the rain. Kwikot claims 50-70% savings on your electricity bill. I will be monitoring data with the client for a week to confirm this claim.
