Maundy Thursday 17 April 2025:
The community of Lavigerie Formation Center, spent time before the Blessed Sacrament at a place of repose prepared after the evening Mass of the Lord's Supper.

The community of Lavigerie Formation Center - Chipata on 09 March 2025 hosted the youth from St. Atanasio Parish. It was a great encounter of the "pilgrims of Hopes". Various activities took place including soccer and volleyball. In the soccer, the Lavigerie Team became victorious 2-1. We are grateful to the parish team and youth for visiting us and spend time with us. May God bless you! We love you all!

Happy International Women's Day

On Shrove Tuesday, the community of Lavigerie Formation Center and Noviciate of Sisters of Charity of Ottawa had picnic. It was an opportunity to live out "In Labore Requies" before entering the time of grace, Lenten Season.

"Pilgrims of Hope" The candidates and formation staff joined the Religious Family working in Chipata Diocese on 08 February 2025 to celebrate the World Day of the Consecrated Life. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rt. Rev. Gabriel Msipu Phiri, Auxiliary Bishop of Chipata Diocese. Our Rector, Rt. Rev. Fr. Michel Sanou, M.Afr., gave a Talk on the theme of the Jubilee Year "Pligrims of Hope".

The candidates of Lavigerie Formation Center, Chipata, were delighted to greet his Lordship, Rt. Rev. Gabriel Msipu Phiri, Auxiliary Bishop of Chipata after the Requiem Mass celebrated by him in honour of late Missionaries of Africa worked in the diocese, Fr. Jean Luc Gouiller, M.Afr., and Br. Rene Garand, M.Afr. The memorial mass was on 07 February 2025 at St. Anne's Cathedral Parish.
