Zambia Has Won 🇿🇲

Zambia might have won tonight, but if there’s one thing I remain worried about, it’s our judgment as Zambians when it comes to matters of national importance.

Over 1 million Zambians were willing to vote into office someone who, in my view, had not presented clear and tangible plans for the country.

And then there’s voter apathy. Over 3 million Zambians didn’t bother to vote. 😅 That alone should make us pause and reflect on how seriously we take our responsibility as citizens.

Five years from today, we will be heading to the polls again, and honestly, I don’t know what the political landscape will look like then.

For now, congratulations, President Hakainde Hichilema, and I genuinely look forward to seeing a more prosperous Zambia 🇿🇲 under your leadership in your final term.

May this be a term of progress, accountability and better opportunities for all Zambians.

God bless Zambia. 🇿🇲🫡

They are not showing off but simply celebrating their wins. It’s not everything you should look at from a jealous point of view !
