Ten of the sixteen stories featured in And Still We Rise are the journeys of Joshua Nkomo Scholars, a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when young people are given the opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive.
At this year's Joshua Nkomo Scholarship Bootcamp, scholars explored these inspiring stories and reflected on the impact of education, resilience, and purpose. They saw themselves in the pages, discovering that the next story of transformation could be their own.
"A scholarship is never just for one person. When you invest in a single life, you shift the trajectory of a whole family, and often a community. That is the power of philanthropy this book celebrates." President and CEO, Ms. Elizabeth Tanya Masiyiwa.
And Still We Rise celebrates the extraordinary impact of investing in people and the ripple effect that begins with a single opportunity.

A world of possibilities begins with meaningful experiences. ✨
Through Higherlife Foundation's Legacy Pillar, Simba International School learners had the opportunity to explore the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, opening their minds to the richness of Zimbabwe's history, cultural heritage, and contemporary arts.
Beyond the classroom, this immersive learning experience encouraged curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation of our nation's cultural identity, while giving learners a unique glimpse into the Gallery's preparations for the upcoming CIMAM Conference.
Every experience is an opportunity to inspire young minds, preserve our heritage, and shape tomorrow's leaders.
