Mais avant de se lancer dans l'organisation du festival, il a parcouru plusieurs fois le monde en quête des meilleures sensations. Du festival Kazantip en Ukraine au Circus de Montréal, en passant par le Space Ibiza aux côtés de Carl Cox, Tom Pooks a une solide expérience aux platines.
