There were nights I felt completely alone.

No one to call, nothing that helped.

But Allah was always close.

All I needed to do was lift my hands up.

And I did...

That's how I found Islam.

When I became Muslim, my best friends stopped calling me.

People who swore they'd be there for life.

Strangers at the mosque who didn't know my name loved me more in one evening than people I'd known for years.

These three questions destroy atheism.

Where did we come from?
Where are we going?
What are we doing here?

Not because atheism is stupid, but because it has no answer to any of them.

That's why I left atheism for Islam.

As an atheist, I needed people to see me a certain way.

Their opinion of me decided how I felt about myself.

Now I only worry about how Allah sees me.

That's the only opinion that was ever going to matter.
