A significant transformation for AWR Group - recognised by the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Our Group-wide cash management transformation has received the Cash Management Award at the ACT Middle East Treasury Awards 2026, recognising the work undertaken to build a more connected, scalable and digitally enabled approach to managing cash and liquidity across our diverse businesses.
Delivered in partnership with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the programme has strengthened visibility, control and automation across our treasury operations, creating greater integration across banking, payments and liquidity management.
As our CFO, Wayne Beifus, shared: “The ACT Cash Management Award is great recognition for what our Group Treasury, Finance and IT teams have delivered together with FAB. More importantly, it reflects the strength of the foundation we have built to support AWR Group’s continued growth and diversification.”
The evening also saw our Group Treasurer, James Adams, receive the prestigious Treasury Icon Award, recognising a career of leadership, achievement and sustained contribution to advancing treasury management.

AWR Group extends its deepest condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to the Al Maktoum family on the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Remembered for his longstanding service to the nation, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum leaves a legacy that forms part of the UAE's rich history and development.
We extend our sincere sympathies to the Al Maktoum family and join the nation in mourning his passing.

Sixteen colleagues, several weeks of focused development and a new milestone for AWR Group’s Summer Accelerator.
Our second cohort has officially completed the programme, following a learning journey spanning leadership development, Power BI, PowerPoint design, workplace intelligence and self-paced learning through AWR Academy.
Bringing together colleagues from across our businesses and functions, Summer Accelerator creates dedicated space to build practical capability, exchange perspectives and extend learning beyond individual roles - strengthening the knowledge and confidence participants can carry forward into their careers.
Congratulations to our 16 graduates on completing Summer Accelerator 2026 and adding another chapter to a programme that continues to invest in talent from across AWR Group.
A morning of shared perspectives, meaningful conversations and community connection as we marked Emirati Women’s Day at AWR Group.
Held under this year’s theme, ‘We Emerge Stronger and Better’, our gathering welcomed Dr. Nadia Al Sayegh, Owner of Senses Residential & Day Care for Special Needs, who joined colleagues to share her reflections on the occasion and the experiences that have shaped her journey.
The event also brought the work of Senses Center into focus, with a dedicated space showcasing educational resources and products created by its students — offering colleagues an opportunity to discover and support the work of an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people of determination.
As the UAE’s month-long commemoration continues, we were proud to create a moment that brought together reflection, connection and community around the spirit of Emirati Women’s Day.
