موسسه دموکراسی و توسعه افغانستان (ADDO) در شصت‌وسومین نشست شورای حقوق بشر سازمان ملل متحد (HRC63)، در گفت‌وگوی تعاملی پیرامون گزارش کمیساریای عالی حقوق بشر درباره حقوق زنان و کودکان در وضعیت‌های جنگی و پس از جنگ، با تمرکز بر افغانستان، بیانیه شفاهی ارائه کرد.
در این بیانیه، ADDO بر وضعیت زنان و کودکان، حقوق و حمایت از اقلیت‌های مذهبی و قومی و همچنان اهمیت مشارکت مؤثر جامعه مدنی افغانستان در چارچوب سازوکار مستقل بین‌المللی برای افغانستان (IIMA) تأکید کرد.
ADDO به انتقال صدای جامعه مدنی و قربانیان افغانستان به سازوکارهای بین‌المللی حقوق بشر ادامه می‌دهد.

متن بیانیه:‌

Thank you, Mr. President.
The Afghanistan Democracy and Development Organization welcomes the High Commissioner’s report on women and children in conflict and post-conflict situations.
Afghanistan shows why strong international attention is still needed. Since the Taliban takeover, women and girls have faced serious restrictions on education, work, movement, health care, and public life. Girls remain banned from secondary and higher education.
Children are also paying a very high price through poverty, displacement, food insecurity, and loss of education and health services.
We are also deeply concerned by violations affecting ethnic and religious minorities, including Shia, Ismailis, Hazaras, Uzbeks, and Tajiks, facing discrimination, forced displacement, land-related abuses, and restrictions on religious and cultural life.
The new Independent Investigative Mechanism for Afghanistan, offers an important opportunity to document violations, preserve evidence, and support accountability.
We call for strong cooperation between the Special Rapporteur, the IIMA, and Afghan civil society. The voices of women, children, survivors, and minorities must be included.
Women and children must not only be protected; their voices must shape Afghanistan’s future.

با سپاس و قدردانی از همهٔ برگزارکنندگان، شرکا، هنرمندان و شرکت‌کنندگان که در برگزاری این شب پُرمعنا سهم داشتند.

پنج سال از سقوط کابل و بازگشت طالبان می‌گذرد؛ پنج سالی که زنان و دختران افغانستان با تبعیض، سرکوب و محدودیت‌های گسترده و نهادینه‌شده روبه‌رو بوده‌اند.
موسسه دموکراسی و توسعه افغانستان همچنان بر این باور است که محرومیت زنان و دختران از حقوق اساسی‌شان نباید عادی‌سازی شود.
صدای زنان افغانستان باید شنیده شود و حقوق آنان باید تضمین گردد.
