The last event of Startup Grind hosted Naeem Nazari at Kabul - Afghanistan.

Mr. Nazari has completed his primary education in Balkh province. He got his bachelor in political science in Kabul. He had an intense desire in entrepreneurship while studying, and at times he adapted small logistic service projects to the best of his ability. Alongside this, he would prepare small business plans to implement it. That was when he entered the new world in early 2018 by starting Bolani Restaurant; now one of the most famous restaurants in Kabul.

Although it is difficult for a new entrepreneur to invest in a business idea, albeit a small but unprecedented one, he has begun to believe and rely on his abilities. He believes that if you do not take risks, you will never see a change in your life. “I didn’t have the tools to start a small business at the time, but I would choose the designs I would even choose the name and the logo,” he says. In my opinion, opportunities are created, they do not come to you by incidents.”

However, of being an experienced political program presenter/journalist in Afghanistan’s most popular TV channels, including Khurshid TV; Mr. Nazari thinks entrepreneurship is one of the most enjoyable things he has ever experienced. Mr.Nazar believes there are great opportunities awaiting those interested in small businesses and entrepreneurship, but passion and consistency are required to become successful and implement your ideas.

Alongside managing Bolani restaurant, he now provides food services to a number of foreign organizations. Besides these, in order to be in touch with the world of journalism, he teaches journalism at a number of universities and private learning centers.

These women are founders, venture capitalists, engineers, executives and more, who represent our community. They are the women who exemplify profound leadership skills, hard work, humility, and success and demonstrate their strength with devotion to the work they do every day. They encourage and inspire us all!

Startup Grind Afghanistan celebrated the female leaders by giving the mic to Adella San and Frishta fazli to share their stories of starting small scale businesses.

Startup Grind Afghanistan announces a partnership with TOI Event Management Services for the next Startup Grind event at Kabul.

TOI Event Management Services founded by Omul Banin Qahad and Seyar Bakhshi will be providing event management services to organize Startup Grind Hosts Fakhria Ibrahimi Momtaz event.

This event of Startup Grind Hosted Fakhria Ibrahimi Momtaz. Ms. Fakhria is a social and cultural activist, filmmaker, photographer, yoga trainer, winner of Bibi Khadija and Success Woman awards and finally a successful businesswoman; is one of the inspiring women in the business community of Afghanistan whose fame base has crossed Afghanistan borders.

Miss Fakhria has founded Momtaz Host, an Internet services company and in 2017 she founded The Momtaz Yoga Center the first Yoga Center in Afghanistan. In 2015 and 2017 respectively she has received Bibi Khadija and Success Women awards. In 2018, Fakhria received the Seeds of Change Award at International Women’s Day for best female businessperson by The Women’s Center AUAF. She has joined Peace through Business and International Visitor Leadership Program in the USA.

The event was hosted by another inspirational women Ms. Manizha Wafiq.
