Ուրախ ենք տեղեկացնել, որ Ապագա առաջնորդների ակադեմիայի մասնակիցների կողմից իրականացվող համայնքային զարգացման ծրագրերի շրջանակներում մեր մասնակիցները սեպտեմբերի 19-ին Ապարանում կազմակերպելու են «Պարատոն» մշակութային միջոցառումը՝ միավորելով հայկական ավանդական պարային խմբերին և Հայաստանում ապրող ազգային փոքրամասնությունների ներկայացուցիչներին։ Հրավիրում ենք բոլորին միանալ այս բացառիկ միջոցառմանը:

Օրվա ընթացքում մասնակիցները հնարավորություն կունենան սովորելու հայկական և ազգային փոքրամասնությունների ավանդական պարեր, բացահայտելու դրանց պատմությունն ու մշակութային նշանակությունը, ինչպես նաև կիսվելու իրենց մշակութային ժառանգությամբ։

Միջոցառումը պարզապես պարային հանդիպում չէ․ այն տարբեր համայնքների միջև ծանոթության, երկխոսության և մշակութային փոխանակման հարթակ է։

In the recent session of Future Leaders Academy 2.0, we had the pleasure of welcoming Tatev Nersisyan, a business consultant who recently returned to Armenia after completing her Master’s degree at Lund University School of Economics and Management.

Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained during her studies, Tatev introduced participants to different aspects of entrepreneurship and shared diverse insights into the process of developing and pursuing entrepreneurial ideas.

The session combined discussion and practical learning, giving participants an opportunity to explore entrepreneurial thinking from different perspectives. Through two practical exercises, participants were encouraged to engage with the topics discussed during the session, apply their understanding in practice, and gain a more hands-on perspective on entrepreneurship.

The interactive format also created space for reflection, exchange of ideas, and learning from one another. The session inspired participants to reflect on leadership, personal growth, and the habits that contribute to long-term success. It concluded with a lively Q&A and interactive discussion, where participants exchanged perspectives on leadership, motivation, and continuous self-development.

In the recent session of Future Leaders Academy 2.0, we had the pleasure of welcoming Lilit Makaryan, Head of the Gyumri Youth Chamber, who led an engaging and practical session on public speaking and pitching.

Lilit introduced participants to the key principles of effective public speaking, highlighting the importance of clear communication, confidence, structure, and the ability to present ideas in a compelling way. Beyond the theoretical aspects, the session placed a strong emphasis on practice. Participants had the opportunity to put their skills to the test through interactive exercises, practicing how to present their ideas, communicate their messages effectively, and pitch with greater confidence.

The session inspired participants to reflect on leadership, personal growth, and the habits that contribute to long-term success. It concluded with a lively Q&A and interactive discussion, where participants exchanged perspectives on leadership, motivation, and continuous self-development.

Drawing on his remarkable journey as a global nomad, Mathew shared the story of how he came to Armenia and reflected on the unique opportunities the country offers for personal and professional growth.

The discussion also explored the growing phenomenon of digital nomadism and how advances in technology are enabling professionals and entrepreneurs to work remotely while living and building connections across different countries and cultures. Mathew's own journey offered participants an inspiring example of how embracing mobility, cultural diversity, and new environments can open up unexpected opportunities for both personal and professional development.

Tatevik Matinyan led an insightful discussion on bullying, examining its prevalence in schools and its impact on the emotional and social well-being of young people.

Through the presentation of recent findings and practical examples, she underscored the importance of developing soft skills as a means of fostering resilience, promoting positive peer interactions, and addressing bullying effectively.

MATRA Programme Coordinator Meets Future Leaders Academy Participants

Participants of the Future Leaders Academy had the pleasure of meeting with Thed Brouwer, Coordinator of the MATRA (Societal Transformation) Programme at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, under which the Future Leaders Academy is funded.

During his visit to Armenia, Thed Brouwer met directly with beneficiaries of the MATRA Programme, including participants of the Future Leaders Academy, to learn about their experiences and gather first-hand feedback on the programme and its impact.

During the meeting, held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia, participants from both the first and second cohorts of the Future Leaders Academy shared their aspirations, and reflected on their personal and professional journeys. Participants from the first cohort also presented the community development projects they had designed and implemented through the Academy, highlighting their experiences and the positive impact of their initiatives on the communities.

Reflecting on the programme, Thed Brouwer emphasized its effectiveness and positive impact, noting the practical value of the community projects and the Academy's contribution to fostering a new generation of active and engaged young leaders in Armenia.

In the recent session of Future Leaders Academy 2.0, we had the pleasure of welcoming Larisa Harutyunyan as our guest speaker. As the Political and Economic Affairs Policy Officer at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia, Larisa brought a unique blend of academic expertise, policy insight, and practical experience to our participants.

Drawing on her extensive professional background Larisa offered participants valuable perspectives on a range of contemporary issues. Her presentation explored topics such as agriculture, tourism, and entrepreneurship, highlighting their significance for sustainable economic development and innovation. Through an interactive exchange of ideas, she encouraged participants to think critically about existing challenges and opportunities, while collaboratively brainstorming practical approaches for translating innovative concepts into actionable initiatives. Her reflections provided participants with fresh perspectives and plenty of food for thought, inspiring them to approach problem-solving with creativity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

In the recent session of Future Leaders Academy 2.0, we were pleased to welcome Artak Shakaryan as a guest speaker. Artak Shakaryan currently serves as the Program Director of the International Republican Institute in Armenia and has extensive experience in leadership development, project management, and executive education.

During the session, Artak spoke about the “7 Habits of Highly Successful People,” inspired by the renowned book by Stephen R. Covey. Drawing from his professional experience and leadership journey, he shared practical insights on personal growth, effective leadership, communication, and self-development. Participants explored the importance of discipline, proactivity, long-term vision, and continuous self-improvement in both professional and personal life.

Artak also reflected on his experience as the founding head of the Young Leaders School from 2006 to 2016, during which he led an innovative executive education program that empowered more than 600 young people and mid-career professionals.

The session was highly engaging and motivating, encouraging participants to reflect on their own leadership potential and habits for success. It concluded with an interactive discussion and Q&A segment, where participants exchanged ideas on leadership, motivation, and personal development.

In the recent session of Future Leaders Academy 2.0, we were pleased to welcome Irina Mkrtchyan as a guest speaker. With extensive experience in environmental and rural development projects, Irina shared valuable perspectives on some of today’s most pressing environmental challenges.

During her presentation, she addressed the current ecological situation both globally and in Armenia, focusing on topics such as environmental protection, waste management, and the vital role communities play in promoting sustainable change. She also underscored the significance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlighted their practical relevance and implementation in Armenia.

The session was both insightful and interactive, providing participants with a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and practical ideas that can be applied within their own communities. It concluded with an engaging Q&A discussion, during which participants exchanged views and explored possible solutions to ongoing environmental challenges.

In the recent session of Future Leaders Academy 2.0, we were pleased to welcome Nver Sargsyan as a guest speaker. Nver is a distinguished expert in international development management with over twenty years of experience working with organizations such as the ILO, UNHCR, and UNDP across Europe and Asia. He has led numerous high-level initiatives in policy reform, labor rights, and migration, while consistently prioritizing capacity building and strategic planning for institutions and professionals alike.

During the session, Nver facilitated an interactive workshop titled "Communication & Perception." Drawing from his extensive background in negotiation, conflict resolution, and adult education, he guided participants through the complexities of how we convey information and interpret the world around us. Through hands-on exercises and simulations, participants explored how active listening and the conscious avoidance of assumptions are essential tools for building bridges between policy and practice.

The session was highly engaging, concluding with a dynamic Q&A segment where participants exchanged ideas on navigating difficult conversations and fostering cooperation among diverse stakeholders.
