Ayo! is 13 years old! 🥂
On October 1, we gathered with our friends and cheerleaders to celebrate our big milestone. Over the last year, our community raised over $330,000 in support of more than 20 projects 💛

A huge thank you to the UC Berkeley community for putting solidarity into action during 🇦🇲
Throughout the week, students came together to learn about Artsakh’s history, with campus tabling, a dance workshop, and a candlelight vigil. They also sold Armenian savories on campus in support of our , helping make a quality education more accessible to bright students with financial need at Armenian Creative Technologies College.
Our heartfelt thanks to the UC Berkeley Senate office for contributing $1400, the Armenian Students Association for $250, and the UC Berkeley Armenian Alumni Association for $850. Together, their generous gift almost fully covers a student’s tuition for a year ❤️
Today we held the long-awaited Sisian Youth Sport Olympiad! 🏋️♀️
Teams from 23 village schools competed for individual and group prizes in six activities 🤸♂️

Our ambassador Gohar in Richmond prepared Armenian coffee during the St. James Armenian Church festival and raised $200 for Ayo! programs 🇦🇲 ☕ Way to go, Gohar jan!

💛 A special congrats to our community relations manager Helena Melkonyan.
Today we celebrate both her birthday and the birthday of our Ayo! platform. Helena has brought energy, love and joy to our community and the people we support from our very start in 2013. We can't imagine Ayo! without her!

🏃🏃 Grab your friends and fam and join our remote run/walk this weekend! (We're hosting a real race in Gyumri on September 20, but you don't have to be with us physically to participate.)
Head to the link below and "register" to be active with us from wherever you are in the world. The $15 "fee" is simply a donation to cover two weeks of physiotherapy for one child with special needs in Gyumri.
This is part of our broader Ayo! initiative to fund one year of physiotherapy and occupational programs for kids with mobility difficulties at Emili Aregak Center.
