From our Early Years splashing into water confidence, to Primary perfecting their stroke techniques, and Secondary pushing speed and endurance—our students returned to the pool with incredible energy for their first swimming lessons of the year!

At LAIS – The British School of Angola, we’re not just teaching swimming; we’re building confidence, discipline, and essential life skills at every level.

One of our focus areas this year is continuing to develop and improve our school libraries.

Recently, we have rehoused our library at the Club Naval campus and added a number of brand-new books for our students to enjoy. 📖✨
A huge thank you to the parents and families who have already donated books to help our library grow. Your support is greatly appreciated! 💙

We are always happy to receive donations of good-quality books suitable for our students. Every contribution helps us expand the range of stories, authors and topics available to our young readers.
We look forward to continuing to develop our library throughout the year, adding new titles and creating a welcoming space where our students can discover a love of reading.

Today, we held our first Early Years Coffee Morning, giving parents an insight into what a day in Early Years is really like!

Parents had the opportunity to experience some of the activities our children enjoy each day, with open-ended tasks, opportunities to be creative, explore new ideas and solve problems.

A big thank you to all the parents who joined us this morning. It was wonderful to welcome you into our Early Years environment and share a little of the learning that takes place every day!

Through fun and active challenges, they put their agility, coordination, focus and teamwork to the test while building confidence and, most importantly, enjoying every moment.

Today, our little angels explored the exciting world of Input and Output Data during their ICT lesson!
🚀🧠 Through fun and engaging activities, they discovered how computers receive, process and produce information — building the foundations of tomorrow’s digital skills. 🌟💡
