We are a non-profit-organization specialized in tube weaning and treatment of eating difficutlies.

Tube dependency is defined as a state of an unintended long period of time during which a baby, infant or young child has a feeding tube and thereby avoids learning to eat by natural ways. It will thus show active resistance and refusal behaviour to all attempts of food offering and other well meant techniques aimed at becoming independent of the feeding tube and external nutritional regulation. Most of the little patients affected by this medical condition have been through months of intensive care after birth and many have been operated and needed surgical interventions. www.notube.com

We often think of eating difficulties as something that shows up with purée or solids. But they can begin right after birth, in the very first days at the breast.
Sometimes a child can’t latch on properly, or is simply too weak to do so. Some children can only feed on one side. And depending on how the birth went, feeding may not work at all at first.

When feeding is hard, it always helps to look at the child as a whole and ask: where is the difficulty coming from?
The answer guides everything else. Once we understand why it’s hard, we can adjust – and find the kind of support that helps your child manage it. 🧡💚

A hospital stay can feel like the only option when your child struggles to eat. But for many families, a powerful place to start is the one where family is - at home. 🧡

When a child learns to eat somewhere familiar, everything softens — there’s less to be afraid of, and eating slowly becomes part of ordinary life again. A snack on the sofa, a meal at the family table, a bite shared with a sibling.
And at home, you’re never just watching from the side. With our telemedical team beside you, you learn to read your child’s cues and follow their pace. Because these skills grow inside your real, everyday life, they don’t disappear at discharge and have to be reestablished again. They stay.

Feeding therapy doesn´t mean weeks away from home. We’ll meet you right where you already are. 💚

Feeding tubes save lives — but when the tube is no longer needed, many children need help learning to eat again. 💚 With NoTube’s telemedical Netcoaching program, tube weaning happens from home, guided daily by an expert team. Over 90% of children eat fully by mouth by the end — with a success rate that beats inpatient care, at lower costs.

Team time at NoTube🧡
Last week, we came together for some quality time with almost our whole NoTube Family!
On the first evening, we had very special dinner where some former team members joined us for the occasion. 🥂
We celebrated wonderful moments, shared laughter and delicious food – but this evening was also a farewell: after 10 years, we said goodbye to our dear Madeline. 💐 We wish her all the best for her next chapter! ✨

The next day took our core Team out into the beautiful Südsteiermark! 🌿☀️
Surrounded by hills and vineyards, we went hiking together – and of course, a little friendly competition couldn’t be missed: mini golf with a view! ⛳😄

It was good seeing everyone again. As a tele-medical company, we’re spread across many places and spend most of our days connecting through screens. That’s why seeing each other in person and connecting with each other means even more to us.💚

🍽️ POV: Your child is breaking their food into tiny pieces

And you’re wondering if you should step in?

Please don’t. 🤍

When your child explores, breaks apart, or divides their food into smaller pieces, this is often an important part of getting to know and feeling comfortable with the food.

Even if only small amounts are eaten, your child is gaining experience, building trust, and learning about the food in front of them.

Give them the time they need and try not to interfere with their plate or the situation.

🇩🇪

🍽️ POV: Dein Kind zerkleinert sein Essen

Und du fragst dich, ob du eingreifen solltest?

Bitte nicht. 🤍

🌿 Three weeks have already passed since we had the pleasure of hosting our Play Picnic in Toulouse!

It was a truly enriching experience, made possible by the professional organisation and warm support of En Faim Sans Fil. Thank you for the inspiring conversations, the valuable exchange of ideas, and the great interest in our work. 🤍

We were especially touched by a photo album filled with pictures from our former Eating School programme, created by a family after a successful tube weaning journey and brought along to our Play Picnic. Moments like these remind us why we are so passionate about what we do. ✨

We are already looking forward to our next Play Picnics and to meeting more wonderful families.

See you soon! 😊
