Ambition Racing

In little more than a month, with any luck, we’ll be back up the glaciers in Europe, kicking off our Autumn half term camp which, is always one of the busiest camps of the year ⛄️

As such, its time to start thinking about what lays ahead and getting your ducks in a row - with everything from insurance & registrations to equipment & clothing to take a look at 👀

The last thing you want to do is lose days right away on the first camp from a late flight / boots that don’t fit or without the right insurance in place 😬 and for the Brits (🇬🇧) you’ve also got to be sure you’re helping the right crew with points for your club events of course!

Maybe we missed some? But these should get you started 🤝

Missing our little kiwi minis already 😢

Sad times but an AMAZING effort from Kaixi and Euan, with a month of pre season training under their belts in beautiful New Zealand!

Trip of a lifetime, so much packed in, but now it’s time for a little school and study for the autumn stint begins 🤓

💙

Cheers for having us Wanaka Ski Team 🙌

We may not train with Wanaka but each year, the ski club allow our little guys to register for them, in order to take part in the Interfields & Nat. Points races (u12-u16).

Our Ambition New Zealand summer camps are now 10 years old, with the first Ambition group visiting back in 2016. Part of what makes the trip so good for our youngsters is being able to meet and compete with all the skiers down here.

Great times together - we’ll be back for more in 2027!

(And it’s always nice to see )

National Champs Slalom coming up 🤝

*But first a little GS this morning 🌅

A great few days for the team to round off August here in New Zealand…

Nationals Champs Slalom sadly cancelled this morning BUT we’ve had a ball fitting in as much skiing (AND FUN) into the days as possible!

Home time today for Kaixi, Euan & Ella 😢 thanks for being so brilliant this camp, memories for a lifetime made :) and it’s onward we go for the last 10 days ⛷️

It’s not about how many times you fall. It’s about how many times you get back up, dust yourself off…. and grab a cookie time… apparently 🤷🏻‍♂️🍪

Brilliant day down in NZ, we are making progress 💪💪💪
