Vienna Celtic was founded in 1978, making it the first rugby club in Austria www.viennacelticrugby.at
We always welcome new and experienced players at Vienna Celtic. Our Training Times are:
Minis & Juniors (U6-U12 boys & girls mixed)
Tuesday: 18:00 - 19:30 (U12/U14/Girls)
Tuesday: 19:00 - 20:30 (U16/U18)
Friday: 17:00 - 18:00 (U6/U8)
Friday: 17:00 - 18:30 (U10/U12/U14/U16/U18/Girls)
Saturday: 10:00 - 11:30 (U6/U8/U10/U12)

ASKÖ Sportanlage Atzgersdorf Steinergasse 12 1230 Wien. Public Transport: The easiet ways to reach the pitch is to catch the S-Bahn from Philadelphiabrücke. In order to reach Philadelphiabrucke you would have to get on the U6 (Brown Line) in Direction Siebenhirten (unless coming from the outer districsts). Once there you should catch the S9 from upstairs traveling direction Mödling or Wiener-Neustadt remebering to get of at the station Atzgerdorf. Once at the station the pitch is already insight, you just have to get off at the front end of the train and walk around one block into Steinergasse for the entrance to the pitch.

Our second Women’s 15s Development Camp is in the books! 💪❤️
We had a fantastic turnout, with many of our women joining the camp, bringing great energy, motivation, and team spirit to the field.
A big shoutout to some of our men who joined as coaches and helped make the weekend even more special!
Now, we’re looking ahead to game day! 👀🔥
We’re already counting down to this weekend and can’t wait to see our women back on the pitch!

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our U14 player, Filipp, following a tragic accident.
Filipp will always remain in our hearts not only as a talented rugby player, but also as a valued teammate and friend. He strengthened our U14 squad and regularly traveled from Bratislava to attend training sessions and matches with us.
Our deepest and most sincere condolences go out to Filipp’s family, all his friends, and his home club, Slovan United Bratislava, during this incredibly difficult time.
He will forever remain a part of the Celtic rugby family. We will miss you, Filipp - rest in peace!
Once a Celt, always a Celt - never forgotten.

CHAMPIONS OF AUSTRIA! 🏆
What a day. What a team. What a final.
With a hard fought 17:13 victory over Graz we reclaimed the Austrian Championship. In front of an incredible crowd, our players showed resilience, passion and the true Celtic spirit.
We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey. To our supporters who stood by us every step of the way, thank you for bringing the energy, the noise and the belief.
A special thank you also goes to our sponsors and partners. Your continued trust and support help make moments like these possible. We would also like to thank Sportaustria for the organisation of the event.

Silver medal for Celtic!
In their first year in the Hungarian Extra Liga the Celts managed to qualify for the final. A hard and tough game was lost in the last second of the game. Esztergom managed to score a try that put them in the lead with no time left on the clock. Final Score 25-21.
