Georgia Cooper - Soprano

First year in Linz complete! The last year has been filled with challenges and adventure including moving to Europe, learning and working in German for the first time, performing the title role in a world premiere opera on this beautiful stage and meeting so many wonderful people. I’m so grateful to my community here for making me feel so at home and I’m looking forward to what next year has in store ✨✨

Stoked to announce I’m in the semi finals of the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition 2026.

It’s been a wonderful week so far catching up with old colleagues from Australia, new ones from Austria and meeting so many wonderful people at the comp! Enjoying being back by the beach again and singing some of my favourite repertoire 🎶💕

Wonderful premiere over the weekend for our world premiere Operetta, “Heute Nacht, Fräulein” by Walter Kaufmann! 🎉

It’s premiere day! Excited to be on the stage with my wonderful colleagues for our double bill of “Der zerbrochene Krug” by Viktor Ullmann and “Des Esels Schatten” by Richard Strauss. Catch me looking iconic and abusing my megaphone 💁🏼‍♀️📣
