This week, we were happy to host the 4th COPA-DATA Tennis Challenge for our HQ employees. 🎾

The matches were competitive, with exciting rallies and impressive performances on the court. At the same time, our tennis beginners had the opportunity to train with a coach, learn fundamental techniques, and take their first steps into tennis.

Our new colleagues have successfully completed the Q1 2026 Trainee Program at COPA-DATA HQ in Salzburg!

Over the past few days, they got to know our zenon software platform and everything it stands for. With the training now successfully completed, they’re ready to dive in and grow with us.

This week, our HQ and international marketing teams came together in Salzburg for our annual 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. And we must say that the energy definitely matched the summer heat.

Over the course of the event, we exchanged ideas, shared success stories, learned from one another, and explored new ways to address key topics through marketing initiatives. As our global marketing team continues to grow, we were especially excited to welcome several colleagues who joined the event for the very first time. Fresh perspectives always make conversations even more valuable.

Beyond the workshops and sessions, our team had the opportunity to visit one of our customers, Salzburg AG, and experience one of Salzburg's hydroelectric power plants in action. 🌊The plant exemplifies renewable energy integration, generating 13 MW of power to supply about 23,000 households while respecting the urban landscape and ecosystem.

And, of course, no Global Marketing Alliance would be complete without spending quality time together over shared dinners and great conversations, and strengthening the connections that make cross-border collaboration possible.

Learning beyond the classroom. ⚡🌊

As part of our COPA-DATA Energy Class, participating employees recently visited the Sohlstufe Lehen hydro power plant in Salzburg, operated by Salzburg AG.

Located in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage city, the plant demonstrates how renewable energy infrastructure can be seamlessly integrated into its surroundings. With an output of 13 MW, it supplies around 23,000 households with clean electricity while respecting both the urban landscape and the local ecosystem.

The visit offered valuable insights into the realities of modern hydropower – from technical challenges and sustainable design to the importance of balancing energy generation with environmental stewardship.

A big thank you to the Salzburg AG team for sharing their expertise and giving our Energy Class participants an inspiring look behind the scenes.
