🍻 O'zapft is! Diesmal nicht bei unseren Partnern an der Kasse, sondern für uns selbst: Das efsta-Team war gemeinsam auf dem Münchner Oktoberfest. 🥨

Zwischen Festzelt, Fahrgeschäften und der einen oder anderen Maß hatten wir endlich Zeit für das, was im Arbeitsalltag oft zu kurz kommt: Gespräche abseits von Projekten, Releases und Fiskalvorgaben. Kolleg:innen aus verschiedenen Teams und Standorten, die sich sonst vor allem aus Calls kennen, saßen an einem Tisch.

Genau das macht uns als Team stark – und am Ende auch unsere Arbeit für unsere Partner.

💙 Gemeinsam Gutes bewirken

Im Rahmen unseres diesjährigen ersten efsta Experience Day traten unsere Teams gegeneinander an – mit eigenen „Food-Startups", die es von der Idee bis zum Verkauf zu meistern galt. Die Gewinner:innen des Abends durften anschließend entscheiden, welche gemeinnützigen Organisationen mit einer Spende unterstützt werden.

Wir freuen uns, gleich drei großartige Organisationen mit jeweils 500 Euro unterstützen zu dürfen: Herzkinder Österreich, WigWam und die St. Anna Kinderkrebshilfe. Elvin und Daniela durften die Spende persönlich an Michaela Altendorfer, Herzkinder Österreich, übergeben, während Christian und Daniela sich mit Sonja Farkas von WigWam trafen, um die Spende zu überreichen. Der direkte Austausch hat uns einmal mehr gezeigt, wie wichtig die Arbeit dieser Organisationen ist und wie viel mit gemeinsamer Unterstützung bewegt werden kann.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle, die Teil dieses besonderen Abends waren und an alle Organisationen für ihren unermüdlichen Einsatz.

Italy’s fiscalization framework is sending a clear signal: compliance matters.

The Italian Senate’s recent position puts the so called Velocizzatore, a fiscalization solution that is not certified, under scrutiny and reinforces the importance of certified and legally compliant approaches.

While part of the market has focused on non-certified fiscalization models, efsta chose a different approach from the very beginning: complete compliance.

Wie schätzt ihr die Auswirkungen auf den deutschen POS-Markt ein?

efsta now supports fiscalization in Lithuania!

Lithuania's i.EKA mandate requires all POS, ERP, and PMS providers to connect to a certified security module. Full enforcement is already in effect since May 2025.

With the efsta Fiscal Middleware, system providers can integrate Lithuania without building country-specific fiscalization logic:

✅ Full i.EKA security module integration
✅ Fail-safe data transmission to the VMI (Lithuania's tax authority)
✅ Tamper-proof, cloud-based journal archiving
✅ A unified API, the same integration that works across all supported European countries

🔦 Spotlight: Eva Kitzberger, Support Engineer at efsta

Today we would like to introduce Eva, a valued member of our support team at efsta. Her professional journey is anything but conventional, which is exactly what makes it so interesting. Originally trained as a jewelry designer and goldsmith/silversmith with a strong artistic education, she later expanded her skill set by pursuing a career in information technology and gaining experience as an IT technician.

In her role at efsta, she combines analytical thinking, technical expertise, and direct customer interaction, making technical support the perfect place to bring together her diverse interests and strengths.

✨ Fun facts & personal insights:

Outside of work, Eva enjoys painting, a passion that has accompanied her since childhood and remains an important creative outlet today.

She also loves spending time with her dog, enjoying long walks, and making the most of her free time with family and friends.

Fun fact: Once Eva starts a new series, there is usually no turning back. Finishing an entire season in record time is definitely one of her talents 😊

🔦 Spotlight: Alice Costantino, Junior Business Development Manager for International Markets at efsta

Today we would like to introduce Alice, our Junior Business Development Manager for International Markets at efsta. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International and Strategic Marketing. Before joining efsta, she gained experience in Pre-Sales and Business Development for an Italian IT System Integrator, focusing on lead generation for software solutions.

In her current role, Alice works closely with international partners and prospects to identify new business opportunities, support market expansion initiatives, and help companies navigate fiscalization and compliance requirements as they expand internationally. She is excited to contribute to efsta’s international growth by exploring new markets, building strategic relationships, and continuously expanding her knowledge of global digital fiscality.

Outside of work, Alice loves traveling and discovering new cultures through local food, traditions, and unique experiences. Exploring new places and learning about different ways of life are among her favorite ways to spend her free time.

She also enjoys snorkeling and spending time by the sea. Having been born near the coast, she has always felt a strong connection to the water, and being in the ocean feels like a natural part of who she is. 😊

Bringing Sales and Marketing together in Munich for our Persona & Customer Journey Workshop was more than just an alignment exercise.

For us at efsta, understanding our customers is not optional – it is critical when dealing with complex topics like fiscalization, e-invoicing and regulatory compliance. That’s why we worked on refining buyer personas based on real sales insights and mapping customer journeys from first signal to signature.

The key takeaway: In a market where compliance requirements, country-specific regulations and technical integrations come together, generic messaging does not work.

This workshop was an important step to ensure that our positioning, content and conversations reflect exactly that. Because in the end, better personas and clearer customer journeys mean: more relevant communication, faster qualification and stronger deals.
