Team challenges make great stories and even better teams. 💪 Whether we’re tackling steep mountain trails, navigating canyoning routes, or pushing through any kind of outdoor adventure, every shared challenge strengthens how we work together and we enjoy the fun and the mental reset these moments bring.🤩

Celebrating our employee anniversaries last month - a wonderful sign of loyalty and long term commitment. 💪 We are grateful for so much expertise, know how and engagement built over many shared years. A huge thank you to all our dedicated colleagues! 🤩

The Charity Challenge 2026 kicked off last week in Salzburg with an energetic start.

Sony DADC employees from our location in Thalgau, Austria joined the event, heading straight to the track for interval runs and optional lactate testing.

The day combined training, teamwork, and inspiring conversations - a powerful reminder of what the challenge stands for: pushing limits together while raising funds for a good cause.

In the spirit of “Competing for a greater togetherness,” the team looks forward to many more kilometers, strong connections, and meaningful impact ahead.

A big thank you to our team members in Terre Haute, Indiana, who volunteered their time and energy to help beautify our downtown community. 💚Your efforts reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship and show how small actions can create a lasting positive impact.💪

What an inspiring Spring Fit Health Day at Sony DADC in Thalgau! Under the theme “Stay in Balance – Don’t Give Addiction a Chance”, we explored addiction prevention, mental wellbeing, and healthy habits with open conversations and hands‑on experiences.

Highlights included an engaging session on addiction awareness with Dialog - individuelle Suchthilfe gGmbH, practical work‑life balance strategies from AMD psychologist Felix Kappen, and the introduction of our new fitness & health benefit.

Thanks to everyone who participated - the day was full of learning and positive energy.

Sony DADC has opened its new Bike Service Station, located directly on one of Salzburg’s key cycling routes. The station, a project of our ESG team, provides cyclists with tools, an air pump, and a secure mounting system for quick repairs for free. 🚲

Mayor Johann Grubinger (Thalgau) followed our invitation and highlighted the importance of our sustainability initiatives. The new Bike Service Station fits perfectly into the mobility goals of the e5 municipality of Thalgau, supporting its long‑term efforts in energy efficiency and climate protection. 💚

Together, we are strengthening regional cycling infrastructure and driving sustainable development in Thalgau.

Great energy, great ideas, great apprentices - and we couldn’t be prouder to help shape the next generation of talent. 💪

Our apprentices from Thalgau recently explored our Stenovice site and discovered the highlights of Pilsen’s old town through an interactive city challenge. They also visited our Service Center in Pilsen, meeting their contacts and gaining insights into their daily work.

During our annual Easter workshop, the apprentice team created a sequel to last year’s superhero film, from scriptwriting to filming. In the afternoon, they strengthened their stress- and time-management skills through a hands-on team challenge. The day concluded with a film premiere and an award ceremony. 🎬

A couple of days full of new experiences and excitement and above all, so much fun. 😁

In the spirit of Earth Day, we’re celebrating the work our teams in the Czech Republic and Austria recently completed: a community garbage collection effort focused on keeping our surroundings clean and cared for. Sustainability is a year round commitment, and we’re proud to play our part. 🌏

Our Austrian team of 19 employees recently partnered with 38 pupils and teachers from Mittelschule Thalgau for a community garbage collection event. Together, we made a real difference - proving that environmental care and teamwork go hand in hand. A few days later, our apprentices continued the momentum by organizing their own clean up on the premises. Two great events for our planet and for our community spirit. 🤩

In the Cezch Republic our team of 20 volunteers joined a garbage collection under the auspices of "Ukliďme Česko" event. In only 2 hours, they collected 40 bags of garbage in an area surrounding our plant in Štěnovice. As we all care about our environment at Sony DADC we could have not missed such a great opportunity to demonstrate our “Green Team" spirit. 💚

Supporting our communities is part of who we are, and blood donation is one of the most meaningful ways to make a real impact. We are proud that our teams across Austria and the Czech Republic joined this important initiative.

At our Austrian site, 63 people participated, including many committed colleagues from Siconnex.

In the Czech Republic, Sony DADC Czech Republic teamed up with Transfuzní oddělení FN Plzeň to welcome volunteers on tow days who came to donate blood. To show our appreciation, we organized a small lottery for all donors, and three lucky participants won a bag filled with branded gifts.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed. Your generosity helps save lives and strengthens the Sony spirit.
