Tea is fun! Tea is full of flavour. And it deserves a special place in everyday life.

New at the teahouse: Yesheng Bai Ya. Wild-harvested dewy buds from ancient trees deep in Yunnan’s forests, naturally caffeine-free.

Unlike most teas, which are made from the leaves, this one is made purely from the young buds of the Camellia tree, the same plant all tea comes from, just picked at an earlier, more delicate stage.

Beyond its beautiful taste, what we love most is its versatility: brew it cold, steep it simply, or go gong-fu style for multiple infusions. It holds up beautifully however you brew it.

We caught up with Lisa at for a behind-the-scenes look at the café and her favourite cooking tips. Lisa’s cuisine is a melange of her Austrian roots, life in London, experience of being a chef in Paris mixed with inspiration from travelling and a love of working with regional and sustainable produce.
