Blue panels in a blue lagoon. When we first installed SolarSea®, we wondered how guests would feel about it. The feedback has been mainly curiosity and fascination. And there's the quiet — solar makes no sound and no smell, unlike a diesel powerhouse running day and night.

SolarSea® at Bawah Reserve, Indonesia — the floating solar technology we've developed in the Maldives, now also at work here. Islands share a common challenge: little land, abundant sun, and costly diesel. Floating solar puts clean energy on water that would otherwise go unused.

A 2.4 MWp floating solar system at Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives. During peak sunshine it can produce more than the resort needs, with the surplus charging batteries for the evening. About a year to plan, and over a year to install — all while the resort kept running with virtually no guest disruption.
