Sabolious is a Vienna-based saxophonist, producer, and sonic architect known for blending organic instrumentation with forward-thinking electronic textures. Effortlessly moving between reggae/dub, jazz and chillhop, his sound is atmospheric, groove-driven, and unmistakably versatile. He has contributed to a wide range of international studio productions and live acts, collaborating with acclaimed artists such as Dr. Ring Ding, Awa Fall, Fred Locks, Ashanti Selah, J Fletch and Mr. His work has also been released in partnership with established labels including Moonshine Recordings, Dustluv and Vinyl Digital. What a cool vibe it was at the hillsofeden_festival last month. It was the first live peformance between Ashanti Selah and myself, and definitely not the last one! We hope that everyone at the festival enjoyed our roots 'n' sax session as well! The classic 'Satta Massagana' was one of our first tracks to warm up the vibe, and this tune is always a decent one. Especially, when it runs through the massive soundsystem provided by DreadLionsMusic 🔥🎷🎶

Subculture had me in a chokehold before I even understood what "punk" meant. I fell in love with it at 13 — Misfits () and Social Distortion () were the soundtrack: on repeat, tape after tape.
Fast forward to now: Through my love for London and West Ham United, punk found me again — this time via Booze and Glory () and icons like The Clash ().
In this reel I'm putting my own spin on some of their classics — on saxophone. 🎷
Verdict time: does sax have a place in punk, or should I stick to reggae medleys? 😀

Six years ago, our journey began with a simple connection on SoundCloud. Two years later, we finally met in the home studio, where the first seeds of a musical collaboration were planted.
Last year, we linked up again to fuljoy Aba Shanti I during Notting Hill Carnival, feeling the heartbeat of a family tradition and the true spirit of soundsystem culture.
Tomorrow, another chapter begins. For the very first time, we will share the stage live at hillsofeden_festival.
