Our Tokyo pop up has officially wrapped up, but we are still thinking about all the beautiful journals and stories you shared with us✨

Meet Farhia from Sweden. Her 2-year-old journal started as a workout log, but for her first big solo trip to Japan, it transformed into the ultimate travel companion.

Putting this event together was a dream from the very beginning, but seeing it come to life through all of you is something we will never forget. Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people, hearing your stories, seeing your well-loved companions, and helping new faces find their very first paper republic journal.

To everyone who stopped by, shared a conversation, and made us feel so welcome: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t be prouder of what we built here together, and even more grateful for this community that spans across the globe.

足を運んでくださった皆さん、言葉を交わしてくださった皆さん、そして私たちを温かく迎えてくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。

一緒にこの場所を作れたことを、とても嬉しく、誇りに思います。そして、世界中につながるこのコミュニティに、改めて感謝しています。

It’s the final countdown at our Itoya Ginza pop up!

Adeline made it just in time to add a Tokyo souvenir charm to her well-loved grand voyageur (look at that patina!). From Boston to LA and now Japan, this journal truly lives up to its name.
