Switch!

Nach einigen Location-Wechsel, mit dabei The Zoo, das Badeschiff, der gute alte Camera Club und die Auslage, kehrt die mittlerweile beliebte und für JumpUp-Drum`N`Bass bekannte Eventreihe 2017 in ihre alte Heimat, das Fluc, zurück und zusätzlich mit der neuen Switch!-Deluxe Marke, die regelmäßig mehrere Headliner und damit ein ganz besonderes Paket anbietet, im Flex! Alle Events stehen für ausgelassenste Partystimmung, den besten & freshesten JumpUp, den die Szene so zu bieten hat und werden stets begleitet von heimischen oder eingeflogenen MCs! Oft gibt es am zweiten Floor zusätzlich Reggae & Dancehall Vibes. Seit 2016 gibt es auch einzelne Großprojekte: Switch! XL in der Marx Halle, die Switch! Stage am geschichtsträchtigen Nu Forms-Festival, eine Bühne beim Wiener Praterfestival und noch viel mehr ist geplant – stets wird daran gearbeitet, neue Grenzen zu überschreiten, für JumpUp, für Drum’N’Bass!

2012 gründeten Pandora & Coda dann das dazu passende Label Switch! Recordings, dessen Ziel es ist, qualitativen JumpUp zu verbreiten. Mit Releases von den österreichischen Produzenten Dorian, Skore und Protone & Roy Green, dem ungarischen Duo 2N, dem deutschen Altmeister Bassface Sasha und den britischen Namen Zen, Serum, Version, T>I, Rawtee, Red-I, Shadre & Salvage, Jaxx und natürlich auch Coda ist das Label auf einem wirklich gutem Weg – die internationale Anerkennung und Feedbacks von Szene-Legenden wie Hazard, Bryan G und Dj Hype bestätigt dies auch! Switch! was launched by Pandora & Coda in September 2007 as a monthly DnB event at Fluc Wanne, Vienna. After hosting parties at a few different locations, such as The Zoo, Badeschiff, the legendary Camera Club and Club Auslage, Switch! returned to it’s original home at Fluc and, with the new brand Switch! Deluxe, bringing even more headliners, at the iconic Flex. is all about the party atmosphere, promoting the freshest jump-up and dancefloor that the scene has to offer, always accompanied by domestic or international MCs! The second floor plays host to the finest in Reggae & Dancehall. In 2016 Switch! embarked on new projects; Switch! XL at Marx Halle, a Switch! stage at the internationally recognised Nu Forms Festival, a stage at Praterfestival, Vienna, with much more in the pipeline – continually seeking to break new grounds; for JumpUp; for Drum’N’Bass! In 2012 Pandora & Coda founded Switch! Recordings as a result of the clubnights. The aim; to release quality DnB with the focus on Jump-Up. So far the label has had releases from the Austrian producers Dorian, Skore and Protone & Roy Green, Hungarian duo 2N, German legend Bassface Sasha, US maestro Rawtee and UK producers Version, Red-I, Deli-J, Shadre & Salvage, Jaxx, T>I, Zen, Serum and of course Coda.
