Blue EDGE brings young people, police and community members together through fitness, mentoring, teamwork and positive engagement, helping participants build confidence, resilience and stronger connections.

To celebrate completing the program, the team headed to Kingpin Chermside for their Final EDGE, enjoying bowling, arcade games and plenty of friendly competition! 🎳🏁

Well done to every participant for your commitment and effort throughout the program. A great way to finish Blue EDGE! 💙

Another fantastic Blue Lures day in Cairns, bringing young people, police and the community together through fishing, mentoring and plenty of fun.
Blue Lures is all about creating positive, informal opportunities for young people to spend time with local police, learn new skills, enjoy the outdoors and build trust and connections.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible, particularly Queensland Police Service, Anaconda Stores for supporting our fishing gear, and Tweed Bait for keeping our young anglers supplied with bait. 🎣 Blue Lures Upper Ross – More Than Just Fishing! 🎣
The Blue Lures Upper Ross program is going from strength to strength! Running twice a week, the program is giving local young people the opportunity to get outdoors, learn new fishing skills and, most importantly, build positive relationships with police, mentors and each other.
These regular sessions are about so much more than catching fish. Blue Lures uses fishing to help build confidence, teamwork, trust and a sense of belonging, while providing young people with a safe and positive environment to connect. Blue Lures Facilitators Manual

While the fish weren’t biting at Blue Lures over the weekend, Sergeant Baker was busy reeling in new connections with local young people.

A few bites, plenty of laughs and lots of community connection; now that’s what we call a reel good day! 😎

What a beautiful morning for Blue Lures Somerset at Cormorant Bay on Saturday, 29 August!

With a sunny 23°C morning, the conditions were just about perfect. We had a few fish biting, but unfortunately none made it all the way to shore! 🎣😄

Fish or no fish, it was a fantastic morning outdoors and, most importantly, a great opportunity to welcome some new faces, have a chat and enjoy time together in the community.

Today was a fantastic day at Bronze by the Lake, where we enjoyed a thrilling ride in the drag car, satisfying our need for speed. The day is organised by a dedicated group of police staff for the benefit of police and their families.
