Well it took James from Label Power 29 years but finally he has his Australian Citizenship.
Born in the UK, James left there to move to New Zealand at the age of 1 and grew up there till he moved to Australia in 1997 to start Label Power.

Last week the team at Label Power presented James with a great gift basket to celebrate.

One Small Neck Collar. Three Big Packaging Challenges

When Pepe Saya approached Label Power to create double-sided bottle neck collars for its new milk range, the solution needed to do more than look good.

The collars had to:

✓ Fit neatly around the bottles
✓ Be quick and easy to assemble
✓ Stay securely in place
✓ Work efficiently within the production process

Our team developed and tested several prototypes in-house, refining the shape, material and design to achieve the right balance of presentation, strength and usability.

The final solution combined a specially developed “D” locking system with Zenith Board 215gsm – 305um - strong enough to support the locking mechanism while remaining flexible enough to sit neatly against the bottle.

The result was a practical, cost-effective and production-ready solution for Pepe Saya’s new milk range.

We’re also proud that this project is a finalist in the 2026 FlexoTech International Print & Innovations Awards, in the UV Flexo on Paper or Board category. The winner will be announced on 8 October 2026.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful design, material knowledge and in-house testing can turn an idea into packaging that works.
