Lucy Ridge - Food Writer

Spend a great couple of days chatting food, farming and feminism at Food Connect Foundation SEQ Food Summit! Best of all I got to hang out with some brilliant women - old and new mates alike! (Important: more brilliant women not photographed but no less brilliant)

Had an intimate meet and greet session Scrumptious Reads yesterday, with the conversation of the group ranging from why food is political, to dodgy supermarket practices, what we cook at home and even K-Pop dramas!
Thanks to Julie (pictured) for having me - and if you’re ever in this part of town I recommend popping in to this beautiful shop.

There's a brilliant supper club happening this week at Scrumpers Kitchen in collaboration with Southern Harvest Association and Home Soil. This dinner promises to be a true celebration of local food: these are folks who walk the walk.
