After answering a classroom question about her Catholic beliefs, teacher Sarah Morse says she lost her job, despite making clear that others were free to disagree.

Sts. Martha, Mary, and Lazarus | Saints of the Day
Some seasons call us to serve like Martha. Others invite us to sit quietly at the feet of Jesus like Mary. And sometimes, like Lazarus, our very lives become a witness to God's power.
The saints remind us that every season has a purpose when it is lived with Christ. Whether you are serving, waiting, or simply trusting, keep your eyes on Him. He is always working, even when you cannot yet see it.
Sts. Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, pray for us. 🙏

Each week, our Garden Mass becomes a sacred pause, a place where people gather not only to pray, but to reflect on the movements of daily life in the light of God’s presence.
In the quiet of the garden, hearts are opened, burdens gently named, and hope renewed. It is here that the Gospel meets real life, offering wisdom, encouragement, and a deeper awareness of Christ walking with us in every moment.
A simple space, a faithful rhythm, and a grace-filled invitation to see our lives anew. Click the link to watch today 👉️ https://buff.ly/koET6kb

In her book 'Seven Sacred Pauses', Macrina Wiederkehr osb calls the mid morning hour, the Blessing Hour and she describes it thus:
"In the middle of my morning's work I break for blessings -
a deep breath, a glance out the window, a graceful stretch,
a remembrance of God, a brief reflection on the nobility of work, an encouraging word,
a grateful thought, a smile, a short prayer,
a remembrance of who I am, a sip of freshly brewed coffee (or tea).
I honour the wisdom of pausing."
What sacred reminders for any moment of our day when we take or need a pause. May we honour this wisdom - body and soul will be grateful!
