Community partner applications now open

ElectraNet is proud to launch its inaugural Corporate Community Investment (CCI) program.

Applications are now open for South Australian organisations aligned with one or more of the following partnership areas:
🤝state-wide community reach (major community partner)
🌿sustainability and environmental outcomes
💻digital, technology and innovation
📈business, economic participation and growth

We are seeking long-term community partners that can help deliver meaningful and lasting benefits for South Australian communities.

Applications close 5:00pm Friday 28 August 2026.

Corporate Community Investment Program | ElectraNet Applications are open to organisations operating in South Australia or delivering outcomes for South Australian communities. Applications will be assessed against ElectraNet’s partnership areas, community investment priorities and published assessment criteria.

ElectraNet has identified a new corridor for further investigation for the Northern Transmission Project, following community feedback.

We have heard from people in the Mid North during a comprehensive community engagement process.

The community’s feedback has directly influenced the focus of our investigations, which is further east of the original corridor options. It’s important to note that this does not represent a final decision and the project remains subject to further investigation, engagement and assessment.

This corridor investigation is another import step following the release of the Project Assessment Draft Report, which found that Northern Transmission Project delivers up to $640 million in net market benefits for South Australia.

We have published the final What We Heard Report for the Northern Transmission Project (NTx).

The report reflects feedback shared by communities, landholders and stakeholders and outlines how this input is influencing NTx project planning — including areas being investigated and how impacts are assessed.
