Horses intervening in the fate of humans. The walksublime philosophy centres on people forming real, emotional, tangible connections with unwanted or rehomed, retrained horses including ex racehorses not fit for riding and Brumbies removed from our National Parks to manage environmental impacts. Wouldn't it be monumental if a public program like this could be rolled out state by state, voluntarily co-funded by private contributors within the horse racing industry itself? Imagine the vast numbers of horses that could also benefit from the daily attention, socialisation and purpose they'd be given instead of going to waste. I've set a 10 year timeframe from our date of establishment, 15 Nov 2022, a date that holds deep personal meaning. My 'why'. And it all starts right here in South Australia. Sublime Intervention can and will be realised with time, goodwill from the public and the support of our guests and customers. Candi Carter, I drew your name yesterday and we both got goosebumps speaking this morning. Sharing a little of our individual journeys with each other, I see this was meant to be.
Growing up with your grandparents’ horses and riding as a teen, yet instantly you grasped what Walk Sublime is about. The power of fully ‘being’ in the presence of a horse. I’m so looking forward to welcoming you here and introducing you to baby Jemima.

What a special day we had a couple of weeks ago with Mel from Walk Sublime.
After visiting her property and horses a few months back, we booked in to walk with the horses in Kuitpo Forest.
I had a feeling the horse I was paired with was going to be Saxon, and I was right! When we visited Mel’s property, Zeke and Saxon had formed a little friendship, so it was so fitting that they were reunited again.
After a few minutes of Zeke getting his excitement out, we were walking together, Zeke in my left hand and Saxon in my right. We were able to walk along together at a comfortable pace, telling both Zeke and Saxon to steady when going down some little hills or through the puddles. They both worked so beautifully in sync, looking after me safely.
At one brief stop, Zeke and Saxon had a little moment, touching noses, with Saxon giving Zeke a little lick. The only thing distracting Zeke was the pesky flies when we stopped - he didn’t have a care in the world about Saxon being right beside him.
A big thank you to Mel for allowing Zeke to join me on the walk, and to Saxon for walking so calmly with Zeke nearby.
It was truly special to experience this moment with Zeke.

Many of our guests have heard me say.. A happy horse is a 500kg being radiating pure love and joy, and joy is attracted to joy.
Here’s what happens when 4 humans meet 4 thriving rehomed horses in their natural world. A raising of our collective vibration, experiencing the magic of the upward spiral in the wake of the horses.

Two Japanese exchange students - new to Australia, new to English and new to horses - carefully paired with two rehomed ex racehorses on a wintry afternoon at our sanctuary.
No need for a translator app. Implicit communication through expressions / tone / gestures and use of breath, simultaneously bridging the language gap and the horse-human species divide.
Very soft.. at times just a whisper.
“Like magic” I said, smiling.
“Magic” the young lady with Red Beauty said back to me, nodding a big grin. She knew exactly what I meant ✨

Not a care in the world for my beloved ex racehorse Quattro on the trail this afternoon, nor for equally magnificent Andalusian rescue Saxon, in the overtaking lane!

A 23 minute interview with a heart-led American filmmaker who's here in Australia, trying to document the aerial culling - shooting fleeing herds of wild horses from helicopters - taking place again in Kosciuszko National Park this month, for the purpose of informing the Australian public.
The interview begins with footage of the aerial mustering of Mustangs in the US (NO shooting) for entrapment and removal from their homelands.
