Lucas Warren #995 Racing

Looking forward to getting out there this weekend and being apart of the Atujara control point for the 24hr trial.

Wishing everyone all the best for this weekend 🙌

Well Round 2 of the SA State Champs is complete - it was a short one and different to what we have experience before but all and all was a good race meeting and an opportunity for us to get out there and race which is a win in itself!!!

I focussed on just the 600 this race meeting which had everyone confused, but out of the 4 categories I was still in two of them 🤣

I came away with 2nd overall in the Pre-Modern 08 and Supersport. I felt really good on the bike considering I had never ridden it before.

Thank you to everyone that helped over the two days, visited the pit shed and for the fun times on and off the track.

Finally as always thank you to those that have always supported me along the way

All set up and ready to go for Round 2 of the SA State Championships - Practice Day today and sharing a shed with Rusty Crane.

This round looks a lot different for me as I am just going to be focussing on the Supersport class and not multiple classes like usual 🤣

Looking forward to getting out there and giving the R6 a run

Well just like that it’s race week again, but this time back swinging on a sidecar.

Last time out on this sidecar was my first race meeting with David Jones and to say I was a little nervous is probably an understatement, but I did my absolute best and I can’t wait to give it another crack this weekend 👌

Thanks for having me again Dave - let’s go!!!!

Grandad, Andrew Bannerman will also be hitting the track in a couple of classes and lots of age related racers because he is a little old now 🤪.

Well my ASBK debut didn’t really go to plan with having a huge mechanical 3/4 the way through the first race this morning, but as we all know that’s racing!! Disappointing yes, but as Mum said to me it could have been worse.

We will regroup and most definitely go again because I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have learnt even more about my racing from this weekend which I can now take forward into the rest of my racing for the State Titles.

I am thankful for so much this weekend. From being able to pit with the Unitek Racing team and Tyra Lynch who I have spent lots of time with behind the scenes it was nice to share the experience as a rider this time. I had so much support from fellow racers and friends and finally to my team - Jorja Crane, Brett, Andrew Bannerman, David Warren, Natasha Warren and Izaak Warren I seriously can’t thank you enough for all you did over the weekend just so I could get out there and give it my best.

To my sponsors thank you for getting behind me as you always have but in particular for this first round of ASBK, you truely help make this happen

Race Day today!!!

Yesterday was hard work and I nearly didn’t make it as the field is super quick.

Excited to get out there and give it my best ✅
