At Mutual Respect, we honour this truth by standing up for Men, Fathers, Families, and Children the very foundation of a strong and UNITED society. Too many good men have been vilified, too many fathers erased, and too many children torn from the love and security of both parents. Rooted in dignity, Truth, and unity, WE are calling for the reinstatement of mutual respect in Australia, in our laws, institutions, media, and conversations. WE advocate for fair treatment, family rights, and the basic human truth that every child deserves to be loved and protected by both parents. This is about healing, justice, and the future of our nation. Mutual Respect is more than a movement, it’s a mission to restore balance, truth, and integrity in how society treats Men, Fathers, Families, and Children. For too long, the system has turned a blind eye to the pain of good fathers, silenced the voices of alienated parents, and allowed false allegations and bias to tear families apart. WE stand united to say: Enough is ENOUGH. WE are calling for the reinstatement of Mutual Respect across our institutions, media, legal system, and homes because children need both parents, truth matters, and no one should be punished for simply fighting to be in their child’s life. Andrew Carpenter, how dare you, as a legal professional, appoint yourself judge, jury and executioner when these young men have reportedly not even been formally charged, let alone convicted?
An allegation is not evidence!!!
It is not a finding of fact, and it is certainly not a declaration of guilt.
Every person is entitled to due process and the presumption of innocence unless and until guilt is proved beyond reasonable doubt.
False allegations are a genuine and destructive reality, predominantly affecting men, yet your post publicly treats untested accusations as established truth.
Worse still, it calls for a football club and its supporters to respond as though guilt has already been determined.
That is discriminatory, prejudicial and absolutely appalling.
The legal system and the industries surrounding it, can and do generate enormous activity and financial benefit from false allegations long before their truth is tested.
That makes restraint, fairness and respect for due process even more important.
Supporting genuine victims does not require publicly condemning uncharged and unconvicted men.
These principles can and must, coexist.
This is one of the most disgraceful posts I have ever seen you publish.
Respectfully, pull your fu***ng head in, acknowledge the possibility of false allegations, and respect the legal process you should know better than to undermine.
