A huge thank you to our wonderful Adelaide Ice Magic community. The pasta fundraiser night was truly a wonderful evening, and we can’t thank everyone enough for making it such a great success. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Laura Lamming , who put in an incredible amount of time, love, and dedication to organizing the evening, from cooking that delicious pasta and her mum’s beautiful sauce, to preparing the wonderful desserts. Laura put so much into making the night special. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did. A huge thank you as well to Christine, Shelly, Simone, Bronwyn, Jason,

After many years, we have finally found the original company that made our Adelaide Ice Magic badges. We can’t believe the company still exists after all these years, and we’re really excited to remaster the badges for a new generation of Adelaide Ice Magic members.

Today, Sunday, March 8, marks International Women’s Day 2026, a day dedicated to honoring the achievements of women and advocating for a future where every girl is safe, heard, and free to shape her own path.

In synchronised skating, we often talk about the power of the "unison" that magical moment when a group of individual skaters move across the ice as one.

But this unity isn't born from being the same; it's born from the diverse strengths, resilience, and unique spirits of every young lady on our team.

At Adelaide Ice Magic, we see this strength every time we take to the ice at Thebarton. Whether it’s balancing the demands of work, study, and family or pushing through the physical rigors of a new program, the women of our club embody this year's theme: Balance the Scales.

Just as we strive for perfect balance in a traveling circle or a complex intersection, we stand together to champion equality and opportunity for women and girls in sport and beyond.

To our skaters: You are the heart and soul of this team. Your determination and grace inspire everyone who watches you glide.

To our coaches and volunteers: Thank you for your leadership and for mentoring the next generation of champions.

To our community: Thank you for supporting the journey of these incredible athletes.

When we move together, we are unstoppable. Let’s keep lifting each other up, breaking barriers, and creating magic both on and off the ice. ⛸️💜
