Vale Pam Lacey - The Wake Up To Change Committee and all that have been a part of the Adelaide White Ribbon Committee over the years are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and long-standing committee member, Pam Lacey.
For at least 15 years, Pam generously gave her time, energy and commitment to the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast and the cause it represents. Her warmth, friendship and dedication will be greatly missed by all who worked alongside her.
We extend our sincere condolences to Pam’s family and friends and remember her with great affection.

What Works: Solutions to Gendered Violence
This year’s Wake Up To Change – Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast will focus on a question that really matters: What Works?
Our lead speaker, David Tully, Practice Manager for Family Violence Services at Relationships Australia South Australia, brings more than 25 years’ experience working with men who use violence, trauma recovery and behaviour change programs.
David will explore the programs, strategies and interventions that are showing real promise in preventing gendered violence and creating safer families, stronger communities and lasting change.

A message on a lunch bag could make things better for someone. Soroptimists did this in the mid north and Wake Up To Change funded it. Apply for our grants now. We think that’s a great idea.

Argyro Vourdoumpa.
Thank you so much for working so hard to make change.
Day 8 🌧️💨🚴🏽♀️
Rain on the ride. A headwind to push through. Gratitude that carried me further.
211.08 km down. 288.92 km to go.
Challenges are always a little easier when you know you’re not facing them alone.
A heartfelt thank you to Wake Up To Change (formerly known as Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast) for their incredible generosity in awarding a $500 grant to support my fundraiser for Catherine House.
Wake Up To Change is making a genuine difference across South Australia by investing in initiatives that help create a future where women and children can live free from violence, fear and disadvantage. Their generosity extends far beyond financial support. It empowers communities, backs people taking action, and helps turn compassion into meaningful change.
Receiving this grant is both an honour and a reminder that this ride is about so much more than kilometres. Every pedal stroke is supported by people and organisations who believe that every woman deserves safety, dignity and hope.
Thank you, Wake Up To Change, for standing behind this cause and for the extraordinary work you do every day. 💜
