Today at the Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs Expo, we asked visitors one question:
What’s one thing you wish was easier?
At home. At work. At school. Or simply in everyday life.
People added their answers to our wall, and now we’d love to open the conversation to you. It might be something you wish were easier for yourself, your family, or your dog.
What would you write on a sticky note?
Tell us in the comments. A few words are plenty, and you’re welcome to share only what feels comfortable.
We’re listening. 💜

Do you have first-day Puppy School nerves?
I hear you.
Maybe you’re a first-time puppy owner and you’re wondering whether you’re doing everything right.
Perhaps you’ve had a dog in the past whose behaviour caused some concerns, and you’re determined not to travel that same path again.
Or maybe you’re simply hoping for something better than your previous Puppy School experience.
Whatever the reason, those nerves are perfectly valid. They’re also completely normal.
Most importantly, you will not be judged if your puppy is noisy, worried, distracted, bouncy or struggling to settle. Puppy School is exactly where these things are allowed to happen—because it gives our trainers the opportunity to see what you’re experiencing and guide you through what to do next.
So please don’t fear that first class.
Don’t worry that everyone will look at you and think, *“They’ve got that puppy.”*
Your puppy isn’t expected to arrive knowing how to behave in a new environment—and neither are you expected to have all the answers. Puppies don’t arrive as blank slates, and owners bring their own experiences, concerns and hopes with them too.
At Canine Interaction, our trainers understand this.
Whatever comes through our door, we’ll meet you and your puppy where you are and help you move forward together.
You’re not in the wrong place.
You’re exactly where you need to be. 💚💙

🎓 Congratulations, Winston! 🎓
This handsome little graduate recently completed his Canine Fundamentals program—and doesn’t he look suitably scholarly in his graduation cap?
Winston and his family have worked together to build the practical skills, communication and confidence that create strong foundations for life. We’re incredibly proud of their progress and everything they have achieved as a team.
Well done, Winston! You’re officially a Canine Fundamentals graduate. 🐾💗

You may be asking the wrong question.
When people begin thinking about an assistance dog, the first question is often:
“Should I get a dog?”
But that question begins with the dog.
At Canine Interaction, we begin with the person.
What feels difficult right now?
What would you like to be able to do more confidently?
What kind of support could make everyday life easier?
Only then can we explore the more meaningful question:
“What job would I need the dog to do?”
Come and begin the conversation with us at the Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs Expo.

What does thoughtful assistance dog training make possible?
This week, James—one of Megan’s trainers—and his assistance dog in training, Ember, visited the Royal Adelaide Show.
For Ember, it was an enormous environment to take in: crowds, rides, unfamiliar noises, excited children, screaming, prams and activity in every direction.
She also encountered something especially important—other animals.
As you can see from the photo, Ember remained beautifully settled and unfazed, even when other dogs in the pavilion barked at her.
Ember is a wonderful ambassador for assistance dogs in training and an incredible support for James. But her progress is also a testament to the time, energy, patience and understanding James continues to invest in her training.
Now, we’re certainly not suggesting everyone should take their dog to the Royal Adelaide Show! An environment like this requires considerable preparation, and it needs to be appropriate for the individual dog.
But James and Ember are a beautiful example of what can become possible when the right dog is partnered with thoughtful, consistent training—and what that partnership can give back to a person’s life.
Well done, James and Ember. What a team. 💜

What would “easier” look like for you?
Perhaps it would mean:
🐾 feeling safer when you leave home
🐾 having support during moments of overwhelm
🐾 navigating work or school with greater confidence
🐾 recovering more easily after a difficult moment
🐾 having greater independence in everyday life
There isn’t one answer—and your answer doesn’t need to look like anybody else’s.
At the Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs Expo, we’ll be inviting you to tell us one thing you wish was easier.
That answer could become the beginning of an entirely different conversation about the support you actually need.
