RACE DAY RECAP!!!

Today at Port Pirie Go Kart Club it was a day of ups and downs having a few minor issues with our equipment whilst trying some new products.

Heat 1 - DNS - unfortunately i was presented with a mystery issue which meant a lot of phone calls back and forth to people knowing what they were doing.

Heat 2 - DNS - i missed the start of the second heat at this stage he had diagnosed the problem and were in the process of repairs.

Heat 3 - Started 7th - Finished 1st - After diagnosing and repairing the issue, our day made a turn for the best after making up spots early we made our way to the front and led the second half of the race taking home the checkered.

Heat 4 - DNS - Fouled plug in form up. Unfortunately a few karts In front of me had trouble starting which led us to sit in line on the out grid causing the plug to foul due to low rpm for to long.

Final - started 5th - Finished 1st - Replacing the fouled plug from heat 4 the L7 Racing Rocket ship was alive again moving its way through the field taking everything in its stride. I’m absolutely stoked with the new chassis and engine.

Today my biggest thanks goes to L7 Racing, the help and support they’ve given me whilst being part of the team is incredible, Damo I’m incredibly thankful for the endless phone calls throughout the day helping me get my gear sorted throughout the day can’t thank you enough mate.

Another massive thanks to my pit crew Jayda my personal tear off lady for the day gave me one less job to worry about with everything going on

At this point in time we’re looking into the calendar to see where our next race meet will take us, good luck to everyone running the Australian Titles in a few weeks
