It's RACE DAY 🇯🇵

Bit of a tougher day here for me yesterday. We started with a wet track in the morning and where usually that's a strength for me at home, I haven't had enough time on this track yet to have that same confidence here, but I'm taking it all in my stride and learning a lot.

I qualified in P18 - so not where I was hoping to be starting from but the race is always a different story and I'll give it my best!

What an experience racing at Pertamina Mandalika Street Circuit! 🇮🇩

It was my first time riding here, and I absolutely loved it. It’s such a cool track, and the grip was unreal.

It took a little while to get up to speed, especially through some of the more technical sections, but we kept making setup changes throughout the weekend, and I got quicker every session, slowly closing the gap to the front.

Race 2 was shaping up really well, and I was in a position to fight with the front pack and feeling really confident, but unfortunately, a crash brought my weekend to an early end and another DNF. I’m pretty gutted because I really felt like we had the pace to be right up there, but that's racing sometimes.

The results might not show it on paper, but I learned so much over the weekend, and it was an awesome experience racing in Indonesia with all the support from the local fans.

There were plenty of positives to take away from this round, and I'm looking forward to putting them into practice at the next round.
