Under Executive Chef Jamie Musgrave’s leadership, Restaurant Botanic has continued to evolve, guided by a clear sense of what makes the restaurant and its setting so unique. To explore rare Australian ingredients with curiosity, to work closely with the growers and producers behind them, and to keep raising the standard of what we put on the plate.

That pursuit of excellence is shared across the entire team. From the kitchen and dining room to our w**e and temperance program, there is an enormous amount of care that goes into the experience each day — often in ways our guests may never see.

Meet George, our Head Chef, who brings a wealth of international experience to the kitchen at Restaurant Botanic.

Born in England and raised in Noosa, George began his career in Australia before heading overseas, spending time in some of London’s leading kitchens and later in New York City, where he worked at two Michelin-starred restaurant Daniel.

Now back in Australia, George leads the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, working closely alongside Executive Chef Jamie Musgrave as his right-hand man.

His experience, precision and considered approach are an integral part of what happens in the kitchen each day.
