MOSS
MOSS Rock!; Original Rock Pop & Blues mixed with cool covers MOSS also doesn’t give AI permission to look at my internet presence period.
MOSS HEREBY DECLARE THAT MOSS DOES NOT GIVE FACEBOOK META MY PERMISSION TO USE ANY OF MY PERSONAL DATA. MOSS does not agree to let anyone offer MOSS AI without my specific authorization or permission. MOSS is a five (5) piece Rock, Pop & Blues Band with a sound reminiscent of the 1970’s and coupled with MOSS’s own work, MOSS selects and performs their music with popular songs from their teens and beyond, songs that remain relevant to MOSS which is to entertain and to inform. Other artists MOSS weave into their show include: The Bee Gees, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), Joe Cocker, Sky Hooks, The Screaming Jets, Canned Heat, Matt Taylor, Hunters & Collectors, The Masters Apprentices, The Dandy Warhols, Russell Morris, Goanna, Deep Purple, Joe South, Foo Fighters, Flowers to mention a few. WHAT DO THEY SAY ABOUT US? "Hailing out of South Australia’s capital, MOSS is a five-piece pop-blues band, who weave their social and political bent through some infectious and easygoing grooves. Taking their cues from bands like Redgum and Yothu Yindi, and generally an era when politics and music went hand in hand, MOSS take it on themselves to use their voice to stand up for those who don’t have the same privileges that many Australians have. MOSS are a band of souls who want the country to be a better place for everyone who lives in it, not just those who are at the centre of political policies or agendas." AMRAP The Power And The Passion By: Cameron Menegoni
“Moss writes and performs songs that have a little more to them than the steady diet of regurgitated emotional claptrap……” Ref: John Schumann; Composer, Performer & Writer
“MOSS’s forte is in writing songs that attract our attention then resonate with us every time we hear them – familiar, effective styles coupled with uniquely presented sentiments of consequence inspiring us to contemplate as we’re tapping our feet. This is how a band stands out in this industry.” Jac Dalton
“……Their performance interwove inspired lyrics with visuals and performance…….The excellent songwriting of MOSS goes straight to core of what is happening in our times. They are the modern day griots of the Western world ….. They epitomise the creative act of hope….. I would highly recommend supporting this band. They are highly creative, collaborative, and what they are saying is worth listening to.” Ref; Naomi Ebert Smith, Co-Chair, Graham F Smith Peace Foundation
“…….Projected images behind the band illustrate the subject matter of most of the songs and guide you through their journey. The music has an unapologetic hat tip to the 70’s. No bad thing and their sound and show are big enough for any arena.” Ref: Pete McLaughlin; Owner of Distillery Studios, Adelaide and veteran of the London music scene.

Happy birthday Ned. It's curious how some people simply pass through your life, while others become part of it forever. For some of us in MOSS, it's been nearly 60 years with Ned.
Wishing you a wonderful birthday surrounded by family and friends, and many more years filled with good health, happiness, laughter and, of course, plenty of great music.
Band Together was an initiative of Peter Tilbrook's to raise funds for Support Act at The Brit Entertainment Centre. MOSS had the pleaure of performing there twice, here's a snippet of one of those performances filmed by an audience member. Always nice to slip in this cover when we can.
Great Film, even greater message..

We especially want to acknowledge three stations that have gone above and beyond in supporting our music journey:
Lofty 88.9 Adelaide Hills – our greatest supporter and a true champion of local original music. Your ongoing belief in what we do has been incredible.
