Our team recently attended the Foundations of Trauma Informed Care and Practice workshop hosted by Daphne White from DVassist.

The training highlighted the importance of understanding the impact of trauma and recognising that every interaction is an opportunity to foster safety, trust and empowerment.

The team from Albany Signs have been working hard getting our new signage up in the office and we have to say… it’s already looking pretty good! 🙌
We are getting closer to being able to share the finished result with you all although, we shall be sad to say goodbye to our awesome brown window paper you’ve all come to love when you walk by 😅

Office National Albany was proud to donate $1,000 to Pivot Support through our Initiative Charity, supporting our local community and helping people in need.

The Albany Community Foundation’s annual fundraising drive for Homelessness Week made a record-breaking $72,000 this year to help combat homelessness.

We had a donation of more homemade bags from ReCraft Collective They are sturdy and hold a solid amount of pantry staple items for our service users.

We loved being apart of the Community Bank Albany and Albany Community Foundation fundraiser for homelessness, a great event with music, stalls, delicious food and drinks, networking and of course the live conversations from the couch.

Our CEO Moira Watson joined Palmerston Association, Great Southern Legal Service, ACF and lived experience voice from John who once worked with Pivot! The questions from the audience were insightful.

Seeing the community come together was heart warming as we need a community approach to support all of our community members in addressing at risk of, and homelessness.

Over $60K was raised including being matched in donation by the Perron Foundation
