Flag day commemorates the day in 1901 on which the Australian National Flag was first flown. The Australian Aboriginal Flag was designed by Luritja artist Harold Thomas in 1971 and first flown publicly on July 12 of that year.

Congratulations to the authors that won CBCA Book of the Year awards in the younger and older readers categories.

Recently we have added some more audiobooks to our listening library on the e-platform. You can also join us in the library today for some more Book Week Fun.

In line with our Book Week theme the Fresh Fiction this week is fairy tale themed. We look forward to seeing all of your costumes and get some snaps at the photobooth.

Saturday was International Cat Day, we have a display of some of our finest feline fiction in the Library it features some images of cats in art.

We have some sweet fresh fiction this week including "Cringe Club" the first book I have seen that is written in texts and lists.

Today is Mary Aikenhead Day where we celebrate the founder of our college ministry. It is also Catholic education week and the theme this year is "Share your light, inspire others".
