🐰💗 Bambi’s Road to Recovery

When seven-month-old Bambi first came into our care, we knew she needed urgent help.

She weighed just 0.65kg — only 650 grams — and was extremely underweight. Bambi was also diagnosed with kidney disease, and we knew she had a long road ahead of her.

An emergency placement was found, transport was organised and Bambi came into our care that same evening. She was started on the treatment and support she needed, including medication for her kidney disease and pain relief, while we carefully monitored her eating, drinking and overall condition.

And now, we have some wonderful news. 💗

Bambi is now 1.4kg!

From just 650 grams when she arrived, Bambi has more than doubled her weight through her rehabilitation. Seeing her gain weight, strength and confidence has been incredibly special.

Bambi’s kidney disease is being closely monitored through veterinary testing as we work to stabilise her. She is not stable yet, but she is improving every day, and that progress means so much. Bambi will need ongoing care and veterinary monitoring, but she is showing us just how much determination she has.

She has come such a long way already.

From a tiny 650-gram rabbit who desperately needed someone to step in, to a beautiful girl weighing 1.4kg and continuing to grow stronger.

We’re so incredibly proud of you, beautiful Bambi. 💗

Keep going, little girl. Your story is only just beginning. 🐰💕

🐰 ADOPT THUNDER & PIEPIE 🐰

Meet Thunder and Piepie, two adorable bonded brothers who are growing in confidence every day. ❤️

These beautiful boys have settled into care so well and are slowly showing us more and more of their personalities. They are naturally shy little rabbits, so they will need an adopter who is happy to take the time to build a relationship with them and earn their trust.

And once you start to win them over, their cheeky personalities begin to shine!

Every morning, Thunder and Piepie come running to the fence to greet their foster carer for their morning treat, and they are very happy to eat treats straight from your hand. 🥰

They absolutely adore each other and take so much comfort from their bond. Every day, they can be found snuggled right beside each other in their little carrot hideaway, happily sleeping the day away together.

These boys LOVE their binkies and zoomies and have a wonderful time exploring tunnels and cardboard boxes. They are also very clean little rabbits — although if their litter boxes aren't changed quickly enough, they will happily dig them out and scatter everything across the floor to make their feelings known! 😂

When they first arrived, they were unsure about almost every vegetable, but they have come such a long way and now happily enjoy most of the greens offered to them.

Thunder and Piepie are looking for a calm, gentle home where they can continue to grow in confidence at their own pace. We think their quiet nature would suit a peaceful household beautifully.

These two boys have so much love and personality waiting to be discovered. Give them time, patience and plenty of interaction at their level, and you'll be rewarded as they slowly let you into their little world. 💗

Most importantly, Thunder and Piepie must stay together. Their bond is incredibly special, and they are happiest side-by-side.

💕 SOCKS IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! 💕

Meet Socks, a beautiful one-year-old sweetheart with a gentle nature and a heart full of affection.

Socks loves her pats and enjoys a gentle stroke along her head or a good scratch on her cheeks. She’s calm, easy to handle and simply loves spending time with her people.

She would really love a bunny friend to share her life with. Socks is happiest with rabbit companionship and is looking for a home with another desexed rabbit and plenty of indoor space to explore.

Socks loves her supervised outdoor time too, where she can binky, explore, have a little dig and graze on grass and weeds. 🌿🐇

And when it comes to food, Socks definitely knows what she likes! 😂 She loves her oaten and grass hay, bok choy, celery leaves, parsley, kale and coriander. She’s not really a fan of sweet fruit, but she absolutely loves her Selective Treat Loops and pellets. 💕

🐰 VICTOR IS READY FOR HIS NEXT CHAPTER

Somewhere along the way, Victor was abandoned in a park and left to fend for himself.

Thankfully, his story didn’t end there. He came into rescue, where he has been safe, cared for and given the chance to heal.

And now, this beautiful boy is ready to find his new home. 🥰🐰

Before we can close this chapter, we still have $460 remaining on Victor’s veterinary bill.

His adoption fee will cover only a portion of the veterinary care he has received. The rest is something we work hard to raise through our amazing community, so we can keep saying yes to rabbits who have nowhere else to go.

If you’d like to help us clear Victor’s remaining vet bill, we would be incredibly grateful. ❤️

🐰💗 QUINTARA ADOPTION UPDATE — NOW POPPY 💗🐰

Some stories really do have the happiest endings. 🥹💕

Poppy was found on the streets and taken into a vet clinic before she came into our care. Today, she is living a beautiful, loved-up life in a home where she is truly part of the family. 💗

Poppy is a bundle of joy and has settled in wonderfully with her new best friends — a Shih Tzu, a Collie and a tabby cat. 🥰

She eats more hay than a cow 😂, loves her greens and pellets, and even has her own playpen in the backyard for supervised outdoor time. She gets to enjoy the sunshine and explore the garden while her adopter sits nearby enjoying a morning coffee or afternoon cup of tea. ☀️🐰

From being found alone on the streets to waking up each day surrounded by love, friendship and the comforts of home — we couldn’t be happier for our beautiful Poppy. 🥹💕

Thank you to her family for giving Poppy such a wonderful life and for sharing this beautiful update with us. ❤️

🐰💙 SAMUEL — SPECIAL NEEDS BUNNY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! 💙🐰

Meet Samuel — a boy with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! 🥰

Samuel is sweet, affectionate and full of personality. He loves his people, loves attention and absolutely loves his free-roam time. You'll often find him happily exploring, playing with his toys or showing off his fabulous binkies! 🐰✨

Samuel has also shown a keen interest in having a bunny friend. During his time in foster care, he has enjoyed being around other rabbits, so we'd love to see him have the opportunity to live with a compatible bunny companion in his new home.

Samuel has a permanent leg injury, but it doesn't stop him enjoying life or getting around. He does require monthly veterinary visits for arthritis injections and regular health checks, so his new family must be committed to his ongoing care.

Samuel needs an indoor home where he can enjoy plenty of space and free-roam time. Supervised outdoor time can also be enjoyed, provided it is safe and appropriate for him.
