If you have an car released more than 10 years ago theres a good chance that your shocks are on their way out. If you install lowering springs on those old shocks, sometimes thats the last straw, leading them to fail and ride terribly.
In these cases I usually recommend to get new shocks for a full suspension refresh. The alternative is getting fresh Coilovers.
John opted for new shocks and thought, why not refresh everything else?

This Crown now rides like brand new whilst being a little lower too!

If you want a daily driver coilover, the Tein Flex Z is definitely my recommendation. With a softer spring rate and less aggressive valving out the box, its provide a comfy yet sportier ride over stock. Just don't go low on them please!

I'm very happy with how this car turned out, if you own a DC5 and have had them rolled or tried to roll it yourself youll know how the rear bulge and distort like crazy. On this car I manage to keep the fender straight after rolling it!

Whilst I usually don't shave the rear fenders of Evos, this was a special case. The inside of the rear quarters had been fully rusted out with one side having some questionable repairs...
If I rolled the rear, the fender would simply crumple and look terrible. Shaving it ensured the outer body lines remained intact whilst still getting the necessary clearance on the inside!
