Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy can help with the aches, pains and injuries that can make everyday activities harder; whether that’s getting out of bed, sitting at your desk, walking the dog, playing with the kids or getting back to the activities you enjoy.

Our physios can help with a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns, including:
• Back and neck pain
• Shoulder and arm problems
• Hip, knee and foot pain
• Exercise (injury prevention and rehab)
• Joint and muscle pain
• Headaches
• Balance and mobility concerns
• Recovery after injury or surgery

Your physio will assess what’s contributing to your symptoms and work with you on a plan that suits you, your body and your goals. If pain or stiffness is starting to limit your everyday life, it might be time to do something about it.

How do you know you’re actually getting stronger? 💪

When you’re recovering from an injury, getting back into sport or working towards a performance goal, feeling better is important, but it isn’t the whole picture. That’s where VALD technology comes in.

Our physio's use VALD to take objective measurements of things like strength, power, balance, movement and asymmetry. This gives your physio a baseline to work from. we can retest at key points throughout your rehabilitation to see how your performance is changing.

Think of it as:
TEST → TRAIN → RETEST → PROGRESS

Whether you’re a weekend warrior, regular gym-goer, runner or competitive athlete, numbers can give you another way to see how far you’ve come. Because sometimes the biggest improvements aren’t just how you feel, they’re what you can measure.

Thank you Holdfast Evening VIEW Club for having us along to chat with your members about all things physio!

It was a great evening of conversation, questions and practical tips on looking after your body. We love getting out into our local community and sharing information that can help people stay active and feel their best.

Did you know we offer community talks for local groups and organisations? Our physios can speak on a range of topics, including injury prevention, posture, staying active, pain management and we will tailor the talk to suit your group. If your group would be interested in having one of our physios be a guest speaker, we'd love to hear from you!

What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate the body's natural healing response.

It's commonly used for persistent tendon conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow and shoulder pain, helping to reduce pain and improve function.

If you have tendon pain, Shockwave Therapy might be beneficial to you. Give us a call to chat with one of our physiotherapists.

Why would a physio recommend Dry Needling?

When muscles become tight, overworked or irritated, they can develop sensitive areas known as trigger points. These can contribute to pain, stiffness and reduced movement.

Dry Needling targets these areas directly, helping to relax the muscle and restore normal function so you can move more comfortably.

If you think Dry Needling would benefit as part of your treatment journey, give us a call and book in with one of our physiotherapists.
